Wow !! You should have seen the number of families stopping by on their way to the Mclean Family Restaurant to admire the Memorial day
Window at the Mclean Treasure Trove .
Of the many visitors I had the pleasure to talk with was
Courtney Kennedy ( daughter of Robert and Ethel
Kennedy ). The display of Mark Gibbons (son of
volunteer Judy Gibbons ) memorabilia from his
heroic participation in the "Perfect Storm " had
caught her attention. There were families chatting with their young children explaining the significance of Memorial day and sharing about their own family members who have served our country.

our " plus size " clothing. There are numerous

There are sooooo many terrific volunteers
that take care of the numerous customers
who visit the McLean Treasure Trove everyday.

The volunteers will help you to find the most fabuous items, consign your personal items and provide you with information about consigning and shopping.

Not just another Monday

at the McLean Treasure Trove !

First thing this morning a gentleman

arrived at the store with a truck load

of donations......

there was everything from silver plate serving trays to gold

lame' umbrellas. Shortly after stocking

in the truck load a woman came in and

donated several Laura Ashley comforters

and 6 or 7 Duponi red silk curtain panels.

Business was as usual this morning. The "Trove" had many consigners arrive first thing to consign their many specialty items. They came in between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Once a person becomes a consigner they can come six days a week to consign on a walk in basis.

If you want to become a consigner all you have to do is call (703) 356-8704 and an appointment can be made at your conveinence.

Today a new consigner brought in several designer suits and dresses she had purchased from Neiman Marcus. There is a beautiful black and white St John suit size 8, a Tadashi lavender silk halter dress, a mint green silk sleeveless dress with unusual detailing, a baby blue Tadashi

fitted suit size 8 suit, a white sequinned two piece skirt and top and she even had a pink sony digital camera.
